25-year-old rookie righthander Larry Foster was the third of four pitchers used by Charlie Dressen's Tigers in a 10-0 drubbing at the hands of the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday, September 18, 1963. It was to be his only appearance in the majors. The original wirephoto from which this image was sampled had to have been made in spring training of either 1959 or 1960. Detroit switched to a block print road jersey for the '60 season.
The watermark does not appear on the actual print.
