On Friday, September 26, 1975 in the second game of a doubleheader against the Mets at Veterans Stadium, Ron Clark led off the bottom of the tenth pinch hitting for pitcher Tom Hilgendorf. Clark struck out in what would prove to be his only appearance in a Phillies uniform and the last of his major league career.
